Numerical Expositions: Genesis 1:1

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

-- Gen. 1:1 (KJV)

The first verse in the Bible is so important because it states that God created Heaven and Earth.  Any person that is looking to embark upon a higher spiritual calling within life must first acknowledge that God is the Creator.  Denying that God is the Creator means that you will not be able to grasp any other spiritual concept that the rest of the Bible is attempting to convey to you.

How can we know that this universe was created by God instead of being formed by a random scientific event eons ago?  Take a look at this question from a logical perspective.  Order is never the end result of chaos.  Everything in life has a specific purpose.  For example, the purpose of a pen is so that words can be written down.  The purpose of a coat is to keep a person warm.  If this world was created randomly, then there would be plenty of inanimate objects in this world that would not have a purpose.  Therefore, if things have a purpose, then each and every person has a purpose as well.  Find out what your purpose is so that you will be able to make the world around you better.

Numerical Analysis:  The numerical pattern for this verse is 1,2.  (1) To stay in the anointing, realize that God is the Creator.  (2) To be delivered, realize that God is the Creator.
